Motorcycling involves both foreseeable and unforeseeable hazards, including but not limited to falls, collisions, impacts, and loss of control. By choosing to ride, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury, death, or damage to property arising from the use of your motorcycle and related equipment. While appropriate protective equipment should always be used, no equipment can guarantee complete protection against injury or death.

Shiftytech, MB strongly recommends that you use correctly fitted, undamaged, and unmodified products, and that you always exercise extreme caution when riding.

Shiftytech, MB makes no express or implied representations or guarantees regarding: The suitability of its products for any specific purpose, or the extent to which its products may protect you or your property from injury, death, or damage.

Installation:

Please ensure that the installation of this product is carried out strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect installation may pose safety risks and could result in damage to property or personal injury. If you are not sufficiently qualified, lack the necessary technical competencies, or do not feel confident performing the installation, we strongly advise engaging a certified professional installer. In accordance with European Union and Lithuanian legislation on consumer safety and product liability, improper installation or use of the product may void the warranty and limit the manufacturer’s liability. Always prioritise safety and consult professional services when in doubt.Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity that carries a significant risk of serious personal injury or death. Each individual rider must carefully consider the risks involved and make an informed decision to participate in motorcycling with full awareness of these risks.

Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Warranty:

Shiftytech, MB warrants that its products are free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service, for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase, in accordance with applicable laws of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, or ageing of materials.

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or failure to follow product instructions.

• Alteration, modification, or unauthorized repair of the product.

• Use of the product for purposes other than its intended use.

Remedies under Warranty:

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Shiftytech, MB will, at its discretion:

• Repair the product, or replace the product with the same or equivalent model, or refund the purchase price.

Limitation of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shiftytech, MB shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, loss of use, or loss of profits.

• Any damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the product.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any statutory rights that you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the rights granted under the European Union Directive on Consumer Rights and Lithuanian consumer legislation.

General usage

Before using a vehicle equipped with a Quickshift system, carefully read all instructions and ensure the system is properly installed. Improper use or incorrect installation may result in equipment failure and/or personal injury.

What is the quickshift system?

The Quickshift system allows clutchless gear shifting by momentarily interrupting engine power during gear changes. This enables faster gear engagement and reduces transmission wear.

Pre-Use checklist:

Inspect Wiring: Ensure all connections are secure and free from damage.

Sensor Positioning: Confirm that the gear shift sensor is properly installed and correctly configured.

Fasteners Check: Ensure that all bolts and components are securely tightened.

Usage guidelines:

Engine Temperature: Do not use the Quickshift system when the engine is cold.

Operating Conditions: The system is designed to function under full or partial throttle (during acceleration). Avoid using it during

braking, coasting, or when the engine is off.

Downshifting: Do not use the Quickshift system for downshifting unless explicitly stated in the system’s specifications, as most

setups are not designed for clutchless downshifts.

Best practices:

Apply a smooth and deliberate motion when shifting gears.

Avoid excessive force. If the gear does not engage smoothly, check and adjust the sensor sensitivity settings.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Routine Inspections: Inspect the system every 500–1000 km.

Warning signs:

Failed shifts, unexpected engagement of neutral gear, or rough gear transitions may indicate sensor misalignment or configuration issues.
